Can multiple users share the same Speak4 account?

Yes, we can add as many users to your account as you need. Reach out to your Customer Success Specialist or email team@speak4.co if you need someone on your team added to your account. Keep in mind while we don’t charge for additional users, campaigns, or landing pages, we encourage agencies to let us know if they plan on using Speak4 for additional clients.

 

Why do I need to select a topic for my federal campaign?

Due to federal API requirements, you must select one of their approved campaign topics to ensure message deliverability. 

 

 

 

 

Can I make changes to my campaigns and landing pages after I hit save?

Certainly! As long as you have their name and email (or fax number), Speak4 can send messages to whoever you’d like. Simply add them as a custom recipient in your campaign targeting and watch the magic work.

 

Can I take off the “Dear [Lawmaker]” line from my landing page? Do I need to add that into my Facebook lead forms?

 

For sure. If you change your mind on anything, you can make edits on the fly by clicking the pencil icon next to the campaign/landing page name on the campaign’s page.

Speak4 automatically addresses messages using the recipient’s name, and signs them using your advocate’s name and information. The salutation placeholder was added to landing pages to show advocates that they do not need to add a greeting or signature. You are welcome to change the language of the placeholder or remove it entirely in your landing page settings.

This line doesn’t need to be added to your Facebook lead forms either, because Speak4 will still automatically generate the salutation and signature.

 

 

 


 

 

Can advocates change the message being sent to my campaign’s recipients?

By default, advocates can add their own thoughts to the message being sent. This allows for more personal engagement and helps you identify who is especially passionate about your cause. You can also lock the message from being edited in your landing page settings if you’d prefer. 

Another option is using our message review feature, which lets you approve or deny any messages that have been edited before they are sent.

 

 

Can I edit the information fields that are required on a landing page/Facebook lead form?
  • Yes, depending on the campaign type. Federal campaigns will require all of the default fields on a landing page/lead form, including prefix/title. State campaigns also require all fields, except for prefix/title.
  • Custom campaigns allow for full flexibility for form customization. All fields except email are able to be removed (or made optional) for Custom campaign landing pages and Facebook lead forms.

 

 

  • How do I send advocates to our donation page or homepage after sending a message?

If you select a redirect confirmation in the landing page’s settings, you can redirect advocates to any website you’d like (even another landing page!). The pass parameters option will save the advocate’s inputted information for you to reuse if needed.

 

 

How can I download all the information from my campaigns?

The reports tab will let you see all the data you’ve collected from your advocates and more. Simply choose a date range, set any filters you’d like, and hit apply. Speak4 will search for any messages matching those filters and show a short preview of the data. Hit the “download full report” button when you’re ready, and Speak4 will generate a fresh .csv file for you!

 

 

I’m testing out my landing page, why is my message count not increasing?

Are you using an address that matches the targeting in your campaign settings? Speak4 sends messages to your campaign’s recipients based on the advocate’s inputted location. For example, if your campaign recipients are limited to lawmakers in Virginia state, you should input a Virginia address when testing your landing page.

You can also add yourself as a custom recipient, so that every time someone sends a message, it will also be sent to you regardless of advocate location.

 

 


Ive been sending test messages, and my message count goes up but the advocate count stays the same. Why is that?

Speak4 will send as many messages as you’d like, but we only count unique advocates on our dashboards - meaning that if the same person interacts with multiple landing pages, we keep track of how many total messages were sent, but we don’t count those messages as coming from separate people.

 

 

 

Why is my message count lower than it should be?


Double check that your campaign targeting is correct. Messages will only be generated if Speak4 can find an eligible recipient based on your advocate’s address. If your targeting is too narrow, this could be limiting the amount of messages sent.
If you connected a Facebook lead form that has a much broader audience than your Speak4 campaign, remember that Speak4 will only generate a message if we can find an eligible recipient for those leads.

 

 

I’m having issues with Facebook lead forms. What should I do?


First, check out our full-length guide on the Facebook integration here. Some good next steps would be:
    • Double-checking you have full control of the Facebook page, as well as permission to download lead information
    • Making sure you added the correct information fields (called “Questions” on Facebook) to your lead form. These should match your landing page fields exactly!
    • Checking you added your message to lawmakers in the custom disclaimer section, under the privacy drop-down menu
    • Publishing the lead form (saved drafts may not appear on Speak4)

Can I add tracking pixels to my Speak4 landing pages?

Absolutely! Simply paste the script into your account’s campaign settings. Once you hit save, all of your landing pages will have the script added.

 

Can Speak4 collect video testimonials as well?

Yes! Storyteller Mode prompts your advocates to record themselves speaking up for your cause. You can then download all of these videos and use them however you see fit.

 

 

I want to connect Speak4 with another tool I use. How do I set that up?

Using Zapier, Speak4 can connect to over 5,000 tools such as CRMs, emailing tools, Google Suite, and more. Stay tuned for the official release for our Zapier integration!
